So many of you may already know I’m on a high-fiber diet, per my doctor’s suggestion, and if you didn’t now you do. I am now on my fourth week and things are moving right along.
No, I have not been 100% faithful. Yes, I have eaten out, eaten off the diet, and definitely not followed some things to a T. However, I have lost 9.6 pounds so far.
My body has started to get used to all the fiber and what once felt like a pressure cooker ready to explode, is now calming down believe it or not. I say it’s because you’re not full of poop all the time. The fiber and the water keep things moving, literally.
I am eating more food then ever before, and that’s pretty cool. I feel good and much healthier. I don’t stress myself out when a social situating occurs involving food. I give myself grace and make the best choice I can and then get back on track at the next meal time.
So all around I think this is going great. I am slowly becoming a huge fan of the high-fiber meal plan and will definitely be continuing to eat this way.
